Yay. I like Christmas music. And Joy Electric ^_^
I’ve pretty much listened to this CD, Ministry of Archers, and the Montgolfier CD all week… and I remember in particular that I was listening to Frosty while I wrote about why polar bears need to be allowed to kill seals so they won’t starve.
Anyway…onto word association, the countdown, and prayer requests.
Sugar rush:: “thinking of you too much…” Yay! Joy Electric songs ^_^
Defending:: Castles! ^_^
Conference:: I’m so glad the India game is over…
Dance:: to Moroder. Another JE song.
Weather:: “Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…” I like Christmas music.
Insult:: That’s not very nice.
Fun stuff. Now onto the more exciting part ^_^
25 days until the Easter break.
47 days until school ends this semester.
I’m really looking forward to things being done for a while. I’m not trying to come across as some lazy bum who just doesn’t wanna do anything (although I know there are some readers who would probably disagree rather a lot), but I just feel kind of burnt out over schoolwork and my 11 papers. Thankfully I only have 4 papers left to do now, but that doesn’t make it any more fun. Plus, I wanna get some time to work on other things… like my own personal writing projects. I can’t really work on them now because I’m so burnt out on writing stuff… plus I still need to get that thing fixed for church and various other stuffs.
It’ll also be nice to not have to write for a while after school is done, because then I can rest my wrist and start using my guitar again. I’ve not touched it at all almost the whole school year (I did play with it a bit over Christmas break) because I’m afraid of getting tendonitis again, which would make me utterly miserable and I’d not be able to do either thing then.
So… prayer requests.
- My prom dress hasn’t been settled yet. The one they sent us was the wrong size, and we returned it… but we don’t have the one they sent out to us yet and I kind of need it soon. Please pray for this to all work out alright because I know my mommy doesn’t need anything else causing stress in her life (neither do I!).
- My remaining 4 papers.
- Stuff at RadioU.
- My friend James & his car situation… I think he’s got it fixed, but last I heard it wasn’t paid for.
- My friend John. He’s only in high school, but he’s going to start coming to the college group at my church, so that’s good. We just started a new thing that I think he might be interested in, so hopefully he’ll like it and keep coming. I’ll be glad then because he’s been having trouble finding much interest in any church-related stuff lately… plus I won’t be the only one there who’s under 20.
And now I’ll tell you a teeny bit about school and other stuff. Or I’ll try to keep it a “teeny bit”… but I really can’t promise much.
The India game is over and India has a new government. The radical Hindu leaders got thrown in jail. We all had a good laugh because we had the tables set up in a big circle and they were stuck in the center, kinda like duck-duck-goose. But yes, so I’m un-converted from being a Hindu nationalist, so huzzah!
This week we’re going to look at parts of a poem series called “In Memoriam”. It’s by Tennyson… and our book doesn’t have all of the poems in it, but there are 130+ poems, as well as a prologue & epilogue. That’s a lot of poems to be writing about your dead best friend. Yes. That’s what they’re about… they’re the most emo-est poems ever… he wrote something like 10 of them just about the ship that was bringing his friend’s body from Italy back to England. That’s dedication, that is.
Gah. No me gusta este clase… la es muy mala y es abburrida.
As you might or might not be able to tell: my Spanish is still not the best.
Yeah. We’re learning about drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. Like we don’t already know that they’ll kill us if we use them. Honestly…
I was sad that my project on animals not having rights was not as well received as I would have liked. But, the girl who presented before me did her project about animals being homosexual… yeah *exasperated sigh*
Stuff is going pretty okay. The computers weren’t working properly while I was there, but otherwise it was fairly good.
You know… much as I liked Potter’s House at times I just don’t think you can beat a good small group meeting. I like the college group much better because it’s not like having a whole huge group of people that you really don’t know. I also think the video thing we started will be kind of nice… so yay ^_^
And that’s that for now, kids. Please leave me a comment so I’ll feel like maybe someone is reading this!
Later days & God bless.
Melody: I was cool up until Tuesday morning.
(aaw, I miss her… -_-)
