…yes, I know …just don’t say anything, okay?
What are you listening to right now?
“New Year’s Project”—Further Seems Forever.
What is your favorite album?
Good question. I’m not sure. I liked Emery’s “The Question,” Joy Electric’s “The Ministry of Archers,” and Project 86’s “…And the Rest Will Follow.” Whenever I think of listening to whole albums, all the way through… I think of those ones.
What do you listen to your music on?
My iTunes or my iPod or on CD… or the radio.
What band should someone listen to to understand you?
That’s a tough question. They should listen to both Five Iron Frenzy/braveSaintSaturn, and The Awakening/Ashton Nyte.
Who/what does your favorite song remind you of?
Heh… um… I think I’ll just pass over this question.
Do you play any instruments?
No, I’m pretty pathetic that way.
Why do you love your favorite band?
Well, you didn’t ask what my favourite band was, so now I will have to tell you.
I love FIF/bs2 because the lyrics are good and happy and sad and Reese Roper always amused me a lot. And… I like The Awakening/Ashton Nyte because the lyrics are good and sometimes they’re kind of funny and other times they’re really thoughtful and sad.
Lyrics are important to me.
Why do you love your favorite song?
Mmm… because it gets stuck in my head all the time. I’ve given up trying to get it out.
I don’t so much like the video that goes with it… it made me laugh, but at the same time… it sort of weirded me out…
What band t-shirts do you own?
Song #1 “Valentine”—Ashton Nyte

“I can’t talk about it so I pray.”
Do you like the band a lot?
Yes I do.
How are the vocals?
Good. I usually think that about this band though.
Song two: Tell Me You’ll Be There
Is it or has it even been your favorite song?
What is the best thing about it?
Mmm… it had a sort of catchy up and down sound…
What are the first 4 words?
“Here we go, on”
Song three: I Am.
Does it remind you of anyone?
God. It’s the title. I’m sure of it.
Has it ever brought you to tears?
No. I don’t really like it that much.
Does your best friend like it?
No. She has probably never heard of this band.
Song four: Salem’s Suburb
Would you play it at your wedding?
Haha. No. Certainly not a wedding-typed song.
Does it swear a lot?
Nope. I don’t think Project 86 ever swears. I like that about them… that Andrew is eloquent enough that he doesn’t resort to swears to get his point across.
Does it make you happy?
Not necessarily. It’s kind of an unhappy song.
Song five: Purpose to Melody
What line gets to you the most?
I don’t know. I think the lyrics to that song have to be taken in as a whole.
Is it about drugs?
What’s the 13th word?
Who is your favorite guitarist?
Maybe Jon Star… I’m not sure which of the guitarists is responsible for the awesomeness on Becoming the Archetype’s album, Terminate Damnation, but I suspect it’s this one.
Who is your favorite drummer?
Who is your favorite bassist?
Steven Dail from P86.
Who is your favorite singer?
I can’t put in just one answer for this question.
I like Reese Roper, Freddie Mercury, and Ashton Nyte best out of all the vocalists represented in my huge music collection.
Reeser: So, now I have all these possessions that I’ll feel awkward explaining to anyone else.
Chris: Like what?
Reeser: Well, there’s the Queen comic book that you gave me, plus the CDs I got from Africa.
Chris: Hmph… CDs…
Reeser: Yeah, I didn’t realize it until I was listening the other night, but there’s a song that mentions a wrist-flick…
Chris: (interested) A song by Ashton Nyte?
Reeser: Yes. It was awkward.
