Ugh. I’m glad she messaged me…but…how can she not know how much I dislike him and would rather never have her pass along anything I’ve written to get his opinion? His is the last opinion I want. Now…her opinion…I would take that any day, but in the ten years we’ve known each other, would you believe that I’ve never been able to persuade her to read a single thing I’ve written? Not once…

Oh well…
Here is the last of these stupid book challenges.

Day 30: Favorite coffee table book

I’m sorry, but the idea of the coffee table book is ridiculous to me. I would not own one. Partly because I like to actually read my books and therefore have no use for oversized volumes containing only the basic information about whatever subject they treat…and I also don’t enjoy entertaining groups (I really don’t have it in me to talk with more than maybe three others at a time…unless they are my family), so I would not be able to use the coffee table book for its intended purpose of getting conversations started about a subject that most of the people in the room probably don’t know anything about anyway. That’s what games like Apples to Apples and Trivial Persuit or whatever are for these days.

…here is the complete list of challenges if you feel so inclined as to try it.
