Isn’t it nice when things are bad and they aren’t your fault, but you still have to deal with them?
The correct answer: No.
In an unrelated area, I’m curious… what should I write about for my creative nonfiction piece?
I suppose, based on our sample reading, that it should be something funny and/or interesting, but those kinds of things don’t happen to me.
The only things that come to mind are really… bizarre… or embarrassing or things that I wouldn’t want to write about because I don’t want to embarrass my family. Or make them mad at me for my portrayal of them…
What do you think I should do?
“Can I write a song because of somebody but not about them? By way of my experiences but not as a sordid retelling of them?”
