I went to the Renaissance Festival with Chris and it was funtimes all around. Although Chris and I are wondering rather a lot whether they stage Sir Shenton’s (sp?) joust winning…he won last time Chris and I watched the joust, too. Maybe we only see him on good days? Dunno.
And I did get my youngest sister her Christmas present. A throwing knife (and I can say that here because she doesn’t read this, so HA!). I got me one, too, so we can both learn to use throwing knives. And then I’ll learn to juggle and to make balloon animals and paint faces, so if I can’t find a job, I can always do birthday parties. Not that most people would probably appreciate throwing knives at their birthday parties. Hm.
“You know, I never really understood what people meant when they used the phrase ‘put two and two together.’ I was talking to Kaitie about it the other day and she was like, ‘Stacy, two and two is four,’ and I was like, ‘what? I don’t get what you’re talking about.’ And then I realized what she said and I was like, ‘oh, duh!’ ”
